iPad Basics – How To Take an iPad Screenshot

This is another in our occasional iPad Basics tips series – so if you’re a veteran iPad user you’ll want to skip this as you’re very likely to already know this stuff.

For those who are newer to the iPad, or who just haven’t had a need to know this before, this very quick tip let’s you know how to take a screenshot on the iPad and iPad 2.

And happily, it’s very easy to do. You just press the Power (or sleep/wake) button at the top right of the iPad app and the Home button at the same time for just a quick second. When you do you’ll see the screen flash white for a moment and you’ll hear the camera shutter sound.

That’s it. Once you’ve done that, you can go to the Photos app and see your screenshot in the Camera Roll album.

You can do this when the iPad is in portrait or landscape mode, the method is always the same.

One more quick tip on putting screenshots to use on the iPad: you can open an existing photo in your Camera Roll, pinch to zoom to blow up the best portion of the image, then take a screenshot. That will create a new image in the Camera Roll. This can often be a nice way to quickly improve an existing image or just create a nice extra close-up shot.

I have 2 PC’s and one laptops. All connect to the WAG160N router. All access to the internet. But i’ve no ping .

Solution

The AP Isolation switch to turned on.

Download from a RTMP Streams

If you wanted a movie from a RTMP Stream, you can download rtmpdump. Because it’s an other procotol: rtmp.

Download http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/ (i have only testing for Windows 7)
Download http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/RTMPExplorer-freeware-GUI-for-rtmpsrv-Windows.htm and use the instal note
Start rtmpExplorer.exe
Type the URL address of the video site, instead of typing it into your normal browser
Click the ‘Go’ button
The download may appear to keep restarting, but actually this seems to be an automatic RESUME function. This adds to the partially downloaded file, it does not overwrite it.

Adding pauses when dialing

When dialing a number or storing in your contacts, inserting a comma ( , ) will pause the dialing for about 2 seconds. Example for a foreign number.

How to disable sound effects

You may have noticed when you got your hands on the feeling that the release of the screen would be followed by a brilliant animated weather and sound very concerned Sinister atmosphere sun, thunder and wind effects capricious. they re all pretty daunting if you are not waiting for them, and the first bit of customization we did was research on how to turn them off.

Tap Weather App -> Settings
Unchecking the sound effects here will also cover the weather widget

Hidden testing page from HTC Sensation

The display comes from a “hidden” page. HTC has fabricated several changes to the archetypal banal Android panel, with shortcuts to contempo apps, and a quick settings tab acceptance you to about-face on (and off) WiFi , BlueTooth, GPS and more.

If your load have to get strange input to the messages, you better off a few things.

Tap Settings > Language & keyboard > Touch Input > Text input
Turn off to predictive text, word completion and spell correction

Deleting sms

Tap the messages in the list you want to see
Tap menu and click Delete
Then again menu and tap Select all
Tap Delete(x)
